Believing in ourselves, as well as our skills, is key to our success in the Interpreting community. We will discuss the importance of positive self talk and different ways to improve self esteem and confidence in our careers.

Terp Talks are held on the Saturdays listed at 9:30a-11:30a and are hosted at varying locations in Salt Lake or Utah County. Individuals attending are responsible to pay for food individually.

UTRID has grown a lot over the last couple of years! We are excited about this growth!! With growth comes change, and change is exciting!!
Last year we started offering our workshops in outlying areas such as St George and Idaho, this has been AMAZING!! We would like to continue with that as well as adding other areas!
We are looking for 2-3 members willing to serve with our Outreach & Technology -MAL to serve on our Streaming committee. Your responsibilities will include attending workshops, setting up video equipment, and monitoring/troubleshooting the stream throughout the workshop.

Please join UTRID in making this winter Warm & Cozy for a local Deaf family. There are 3 ways you can support the cause:
1. Donate to our Sub For Santa fund.
Venmo (@UTRID and mention Sub for Santa in the subject) or Paypal
2. Select a gift from our virtual Giving Tree and bring it to the cookie party, or arrange drop off at an alternate location by contacting the email listed on the sign-up.
3. Attend our annual Cookie Decorating party 6-8pm Friday, Dec 6 at the Sanderson Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing 5709 S 1500 W.
