Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification for Interpreters
July 7, 2-5pm and July 8, 9-2pm.

The workshop is presented by Mistie Owens in Kaysville at the Utah House: USU Botanical Center
This course teaches skills for providing initial help as interpreters to young people experiencing mental health problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis and substance use disorders (NCBH). Our position as interpreters provides such access to youth that we would be able to apply these First Aid skills in our work. UTRID is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies program is offered for .7 CEUs at the Little/No Content Knowledge Level.
